Pink Moonrise over San Francisco

From the photographer: “I have an ongoing project where I photograph the moon over various San Francisco landmarks. I’ve seen the moon rise in pink, yellow, orange, red, grey, and shades in between. But I’ve never seen it appear as two colors at once. There was a low level, thin cloud base that caused the initial rise to appear pink. Once clearing those clouds, the moon appeared yellow. I was fortunate enough to capture the moment when the moon appear as both colors at the same time.”
