Description

From the photographer: “In good observation and photography conditions with total absence of the cloud and cold weather I was lucky to take this view of the last crescent just after a few minutes of its rise (and perhaps 1 hour before sun rise). The magnitude of the moon is -5.3 and the phase is 0.014. Above the moon you can see Mercury near its longest elongation from the sun.”
