Description

From the photographer: “The International Space Station (ISS) passes over a thunderstorm. Stars of the constallations Corona Borealis, Bootes, and Canes Venatici are also visible above the clouds, many of them fading out as the clouds spread over the image during the exposure. The gap in the trail of the ISS is caused by the interval time between two of the 26 single shots that were stacked for this image.”
