The Moon and planets gather in the evening sky above barren landscape of Namib Desert, Namibia. From bottom to top Venus, Mercury, Mars, Moon, and star Spica are visible. Click on the little star icon beside the image to see the labels. As noted by the photographer "I was in the Namib Rand Nature Reserve which is a Leopard area. When taking the shots I noticed a snarling several times and suddenly I heard the sound and saw the shadow of a very fast running animal only 50 meters away". Bernd Pröschold,
