The path of the annular solar eclipse of 2012 May 20 started in China, crossed Japan and the North Pacific before sweeping the west and southwest USA. TWAN photographer and famous NASA eclipse expert Fred Espenak was located in the eastern New Mexico to captured the eclipsed sun before the sunset.
