By: Babak A. Tafreshi

Region: Middle East

Site: Alborz Mountains - Iran

Date: July 2010

In the early evening sky the young crescent Moon meets with bright planet Venus. This self-portrait panorama is made from 3400 meters high Dizin peak in Alborz Mountains of Iran. Not as bright as Venus but there are two others planets, Saturn and Mars, aligned with Venus along the ecliptic on the upper left. Babak Tafreshi/
